Belvedere

I can never get a nice sky in Vienna. Always when I’m there I get only something like this. It even got worse after this, the sky went completely clear. Will probably have to try it again in few weeks.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 7D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, handheld.

White Cadillac

Just a random photo from Vienna today :) You don’t see many cars like this one here, so I took the shot :) You can see the Vienna Opera house in the back.

Beetle at Gasometer

I think this shot could have been better. I still see few problems with it. First of all the composition could be better, and secondly there are still some overexposed areas in the shot (I tried to repair them, so hopefully they are not so visible :) ). But there is a simple explanation for both problems. There were small complications while taking this shot, the passing cars :). This street was not as wide and not as empty as I would like. So every-time I tried to take the shot, I had to quickly move away, so there is no accident. But I think even if it’s not 100% as I would like, that it’s a nice enough image to be shared :)

Photo taken at Gasometer city in Vienna, Austria, during a sunset.

Inside St. Charles’s Church in Vienna

And another beautiful church in HDR. This time the St. Charles’s Church in Vienna. I’m very happy with how sharp it is, as it was taken only handheld and at a higher iso setting.

Of to Prague :)

I’m taking a little trip to Prague the next few day’s, and the whole plan is to take photos, more photos and even more photos :) So let’s hope that in the next weeks I add many new (and hopefully good) photos from Prague :). And let’s hope the schedule function on wordpress works flawlessly and each day there still is a new photo on this blog :)

St. Charles’s Church

I had some problem with colors in this shot. It was taken around 12 o’clock during a very sunny day, so the light was very bright. I think the HDR still came out quite nicely, and this is what I really like about HDR. That you really can take photos any time of the day :). Still can’t wait to go again to Vienna to take more shots :)
