One of the best things about traveling, is just tasting all the food. And if you ever been in the Czech republic, you know that their traditional food is just great. So since today I’m posting a photo from Cesky Krumlov, I’m also including a snapshot I took during lunch the day I took this photo. And for those curious, the lunch was “Old Bohemian feast – chicken, smoked meat, millet, potato cake, dumpling, potato, salad”. After that, I had enough energy for the whole day :)

This photo is a 2 shot panorama, with each shot from 4 exposures. Combined panorama in PTgui, combined HDR in Olone Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Again to break up the Paris shots, here is one older, from Cesky Krumlov. this one is from the very cold snowy sunrise I had there. From the location I was standing at, the sun shown itself so nicely, right behind the castle tower :)

It’s such a pleasure to walk around a city early in the morning. Especially when it’s completely empty and quiet. I even wrote an article why to take photos at sunrise and it really is worth it. It was same in Cesky Krumlov. I think I seen only one other person on my way from the hotel to this spot.

When everyone sleeps

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 6, Camera Model: Canon 5D mark II, Lens: Canon 24-70mm F2.8, Focal length: 24mm, Aperture: 7.1, Middle exposure time: 32s, ISO: 320, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.808551, 14.313694

At first I thought that I will add a new Top 5 spots page today, one for Cesky Krumlov, but then I noticed I don’t have enough finished photos for that. So instead, I edited another shot from there :)

This is a 3 tile panorama, each tile from 5 exposures.

I posted so many blue hour shots recently, so how about one taken in the middle of the day smile emoticon This one is taken in the middle of Cesky Krumlow, from this very nicely placed viewing area. You may wonder why I call this photo “Before the snow”. The reason is simple, around 1 hour after I took this, it started snowing like crazy, and the whole city got covered by snow.

This is a HDR from 4 exposures, created in Photoengine, finished in Photoshop. I used a polarizing filter while taking this photo.
