Prague center

You can’t take many sunset photos while traveling on a ship, so I had to use the one sunset I was in Prague to the fullest. So it was another tower for me, and as this one was closes to my hotel, it was an easy decision. I meet again with a czech photographer Honza Jílek and if you check out his page http://janjilekphotography.wordpress.com/ you can see his version of this sunset.

Lesser Town Square

I think I haven’t yet posted a view from this tower in Prague. There are so many towers in Prague and slowly I try to visit every one of them during the sunset. That day, I was choosing between this tower and the one you can see in the top right corner, by the Charles bridge. And as this one is higher, it won. But it looks like I will have to visit it once more, as this sunset was completely cloudless.

From the new place

So they finally opened the small square next to the Charles Bridge. And from there you get exactly this view. And as you can see this is taken around sunrise, so I was there alone :)

Ginger & Fred

This one took a lot of retouching, to get this one exactly how I wanted. Almost nothing was left from the tonemapped photomatix image. This actually happens a lot to me lately. I just use the tone-mapped image as a base, and recover a lot of the photo from the original shots.

Triple statue

The Charles bridge is so great for photos. You can just shoot and shoot and shoot. And that’s exactly what I did. And the sky I got, just made it better. As you can see, I was no longer alone on the bridge. Few moments after I got there, other photographers started arriving on the bridge. And few people, whose job was probably to interfere with the photos. As they just came and stood in front of the statues, like there was no better place for them to be.
