Iglesia de Los Jesuitas

White objects (walls, cars, anything else) are not the best subject for HDR. You have to be very careful, not to make the white turn into grey in your final result. This very beautiful church in Toledo, the Iglesia de Los Jesuitas is one of the very bright churches, with all the walls very white. This is why I used the HDR postprocess only on small parts of the photo, everything that was not white. Together with a lot of brightening, I think it worked really well.

Also this was only the second church I visited in Spain (first one being the Almudena Cathedral) where I was allowed to use a tripod. Don’t really understand why they allow you to take photos, but they are against the use of tripods :)

Toledo Reflection

So I’m back from Spain. The weather was quite nice, not always, but most of the times. So I think I managed to take a lot of nice photos. This one is from Toledo, taken in the morning. Probably the next few weeks there will be a lot of photos from Spain, as I was in Madrid, Toledo and Segovia, and there were really a lot of beautiful places.
