Inside the Parish Church in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg

You could say, that this was the only composition I could do in this church. The reasons was a gate, preventing me from entering the church :) So I put the tripod as close to the gate as possible, so the lens is on the other side, an took few shots.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 18-200mm lens, from a tripod.

Statue on the Maria-Theresien-Platz

One from Vienna today. These old statues look so great in hdr. All the detail just shows in the photo. This was taken on a very hot, very sunny day, which is quite visible on the photo. The sky was really this blue :)

Beauty of the Moment

I love taking photos on the street. I always see such beautiful moments and compositions that I could take hundreds of photos. I just still don’t have enough courage, to just start taking photos of random people. But I’m getting more self-confident, more and more :)

I took this photo last weekend in Vienna. We were eating lunch and sitting in front of a restaurant, when this girl set down by the closed door, of a near by shop. I didn’t even had to stand away from the table :)

No HDR today. This is a single photo, edited a little in Lightroom and used Cross-processing in Color Effects.

Taken with Canon 7D with Sigma 18-55mm lens, handheld.

Usually I can choose if a photo should be color or B&W, but this time I like them so much that I’m adding them both :)

Taming the Dragon

Or I think the fountain looks like one :). This is one of the fountains in the gardens of the Belvedere Palace in Vienna.

Few days ago this blog reached 20 000 views :). Thank you very much everyone :)

White structures are not the best subjects for HDR’s. The process tends to make them really ugly and grey. So I blended this image with the original shot, so it stays at least a little white :)

There is also a lot of lens distortion in this shot. I don’t mind it at all. I think taking photos of structures this way gives them a more majestic feeling, they just look bigger :) I really like this composition, so I will probably go there again, when there are nice clouds, and maybe a sunset :)
