Leadenhall Market In London

Here I really wanted a different composition. But as I got here around 2pm, it was quite full with people and directly in the middle, there was a stand, where they were selling something. And as you noticed from all my photos, I prefer having no people in my shots (usually :)). So I went with look more towards the ceiling, but still I got few people in there. But as I also almost never crop my photos, I let them be.

When you have no luck for a nice sunrise, at least you can go with a nice blue colored sky.

Lamp on the bridge

You can visit any city, but go out before 6am and you will have the streets just for you (the only exception I have seen until now was the Charles bridge in Prague :) ). It’s so nice to have the streets just for yourself. And as the buses already run, you can get some very nice long exposure photos with light streaks. No none in this one, but I will post also those :)

London City hall

As you have probably already noticed, most of the photo I’m posting from the Uk trip, are blue hour and night shots. The reason is simple. When the weather is ugly, you get very little color in day shots, as the sky is grey. But as night shots are lighten mostly be city lights, which are more yellow, you get much more color in the photos. The only problem is, that is so cold in the evenings, that you wont be shooting for too long. And as it take more than a minute to take a single series, you be standing and doing nothing for a while, which does not help either :). But it’s much better that having no good photos at all.

Passing red buses

In reality it’s only one bus, but used from multiple exposures :). I actually used exposures from two series here, one because I wanted the bus in the shot and a second series so I had no people in the shot. And it worked out nicely.

This shot is a manual blend from 6 exposures. Taken on the Tower bridge in London.
