Dancing in the morning

Let’s continue with the Prague photos. I took many photos of this Dancing house during the last two years, but this is the first one I actually like. All it took was to wake up at 4am, so I can be there at 5am. Only thing I would want more would be few clouds, but also without them it looks quite good :)

This photo is a HDR from 7 shots, but you don’t see much from the tone-mapped image. This is because after photomatix, I recovered a lot of areas from the original shots. That’s actually same for a lot of my recent photos. I use the tone-mapped image as a base and the do manual blending on top of it.

Underground

While I was in Prague I had the chance to meet up with Elia Locardi and take photos with him (check out his page here http://www.blamethemonkey.com/ ). He does amazing shots of metro stations. So I got a little inspired and also took a few photos in a metro station :)

I used two 7bracket HDR photos here. I took them booth from exactly the same spot with the same settings. This was because there were a lot of people walking around and I wanted none in my shot. So by masking these two together and using some of the areas from the original brackets I managed to get rid of all of them :)

Vysehrad from the distance

Right after I arrived in Prague I went out to take few photos. And my first destination was the Petrin Hill gardens. I was hoping for a nice view of the city center, but there were too many trees in that direction. So at least the view towards the opposite side was nice and clear.

Alone on the Charles Bridge

I’m back from Prague after a week, so get ready for a lot of Prague photos :) I had to get up at 4:00am to be able to get to the bridge around 5:00am, but it was quite worth it. I was alone on the Charles Bridge. For about 30 second that is :) After that I was joined by more photographers which had the same idea as I had. But I still managed to get a lot of great shots without people, and the sunset that day was just perfect :)
Alone on the Charles Bridge You really have to go there really early to avoid people. This one is from 5:13 am :)

Pink Prague

Trying a new processing method here. Doesn’t look so bad. Will see what comes from it, have to test it a little more :)
