I love the colors in this one. Even with it raining most of the day, the night was usable. You don’t get any blue hour with the sky being completely covered with clouds, but once the sun goes down, the city lights will make all clouds glow yellow. There is so much more light for night shooting then.

Sharp architecture

Recently I don’t do so much daytime photography and focus more on sunrise/sunset/blue hour. But if the weather is right, I go out to take few shots. And I found a moment in Paris, when it was worth it. Only a moment, as the clouds disappeared very quickly. I used a 9 stop ND filter for this, as I like the soft water so much that I want it even in my day shots.

Long exposure shot

This was actually my second trip to Paris. My first one was 13 years ago at a school trip. I don’t remember much from that trip (scenery really was not on my mind when I was 17 years old :)), but this finger was one of the thing I remembered and I also knew where it was. Other that the area looks wery different from what I saw then. It was mostly a construction site then.

The one with the Finger

I took so many photos of the Eiffel tower and I still think it’s not enough :) Each time you see a Paris photo, there is a very big chance you will have the tower there. And it’s no wonder. It really screams Paris. From my 6 days in Paris I spend two sunsets there. Really wanted also a nice sunrise, but the weather was against that. Maybe next time.

Glowing tower

This was just luck. Having a sunset like this the day we (by we I mean me, Beboy photographies and Begirl all over the world ) went to the Eiffel tower was a big surprise. It was raining the most of the day, so there was a little chance that if the rain stops and the clouds break up we would have something nice, but this was much more than expected And that’s why I took over 700 brackets during that sunset

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken from the top of the Eiffel tower.
