Different theme

I just randomly tried this theme, and I quite like it :). What do you all think? Is it better? The only thing I don’t like is that the pictures are a little smaller. But other than that, I think it looks better :)

Unique and Big

You have the Slovak radio building and the National Bank of Slovakia building in this shot. And the first one is the most unusual and the second one the highest in Bratislava :)

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 18-200mm lens, from a tripod. Photo taken from the Slavin Memorial.

In the Sun

Something a little calmer for the end of the week. This photo was taken near the Cunovo Dam near Bratislava.

Interview

I’m the guest photographer over at  http://vineetsuthan.com/ . And there is also a little interview with me :). So if anyone of you is interested, head over to the site :)

Giraffes and Zebras

I took this shot at Zoo in Bratislava, in the summer of last year. I had only my 18-50mm lens, so I couldn’t really zoom in that much. So I tried my best to take some interesting shots :)

Tree in the wind

There was such a strong wind that day, that I was actually very surprised that the photos aligned so nicely. I was very happy that I almost always have the lens hood on, as I let go of the tripod for a few seconds and it was immediately blown over by the wind. Without the lens hood, the complete front of the lens would be buried in mud :)

This photo was taken in January near the Red Stone (Cerveny Kamen) castle in western Slovakia.

Sun under the Port bridge

This is actually a very usual composition for me :) Having one bridge under another. But this time the sun gives it a special touch. This is the Port Bridge, one of the less accessible bridges in Bratislava, as it’s a highway bridge, going over the cargo port.

This HDR is from 7 shots, as I vent as hight as +4 EV, because the bridge was very dark in every photo I took.
