The temperatures dropped a lot the last days in Slovakia, with today being a nice -10 degrees Celsius (-18 real feel). I tried to go out to take some photos, but it really is not that fun, when one has a cold allergy. But today I stopped for an hour in Trnava, to take few photos, and while I gave up after about a hour in the cold, I still got some nice shots. And here is one of them :)

This is a two exposure vertorama, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Number 1

And we are at number 1, the most favorited photo I have on Flickr. And also the first ever photo I had on Flickr Explore homepage.

This is for now the last look back and from tomorrow I be back with the new photos.

After sunset in the Sunflower field I really wanted to take a show with the sun still above the horizon, but we were traveling on a highway, and could not stop by any of the fields, and by the time we reached this one, the sun was already down. But I still like it :). Everything is a little more blue, but still fine :). Photo taken somewhere between Trnava and Bratislava (I have no idea where exactly :))HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.

Street in Tranava

I have quite the luck for clear skies during the blue hour. It happens almost each time I take photos during that time of the day.
This is one of the photos I took with the Canon 450D and used only 3 brackets. You really can see the difference compared to a 5D mark II photo. Especially when editing. There is so much more noise and less sharpness. The full frame camera is really worth it :)

Holy Trinity Square

It was quite cold when I took this, as it was taken earlier this year. But great thing about it being cold is, that there were no people around even at such an early hour.

This is still one of the photos I took with my Canon 450D. And there are parts of the photo where it is visible. Especially the color bending in the sky. I even edited the photo twice, to have it less visible, but still uploading to Smugmug made it worse.

Church of St. Nicolas

As all photographers, I prefer to take my photos around sunset. But sometime, especially during winter months, the sunsets are quite boring. With a clear sky, they look mostly grey. So what I do, is I wait for the blue hour. Even with a clear sky, the blue is really stunning.

This is one of my older photos, still taken with the Canon 450D. You really can see the difference, when you look closely. The 5D mark II with the Canon lens makes much more sharper images.
