Or better said, between the bridge, as the both sides are form the same bridge. Actually this bridge, the Triple bridge, consist’s of three separate parts, as also the name suggest.

This is one of the photos I took during my stay there last year, and as you can see, the weather was not ideal. There is a small chance that I will stop there for a day next month, so maybe then I get some photos with a little nicer weather :)

Between the bridges

This photo was taken at one of the craziest places I ever been, the Metelkova city in the middle of Ljubljana in Slovenia. You just feel like on drugs when there, it’s so crazy. Too bad the weather was just ugly when I was there, so every photo looks grey and boring. So I’m adding at least this one, where there is almost no sky. This was a small stand in the park there, with everything decorated like this.

Locked in the morning

Somehow recently I look more for frames in my composition. It’s just something different, as not many people use this type of composition that much, and the results are quite unique and new views of classic spots. So I did the same here, where I took a photo of the Triple bridge through the railing (and the love locks) of the Butcher’s bridge. And as I took this around 5am, I had the whole city center just for myself :)

This is a HDR created from 5 exposures in Oloneo Photoengine and finished in Photoshop. The HDR was used mostly to brighten the image, as the railing was very bright compared to all other parts of the image, due to the laps under it.
Locked in the morning

I don’t really like taking photos in the rain, but there is one good thing about it. With all the moisture in the air, it starts reflecting all the lights from the streets and so giving more color and light to the scene. Of course I would’t even try it if I didn’t knew that my camera is weatherproof. But after quite a few photos taken in rain, I’m quite sure that it will survive a few more :)

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken in the center of Ljubljana.
Water colors

Sometime not even the blue hour gets you a blue sky. Especially whet it only stopped raining a short while ago. But all the clouds still reflect the street light, which can mad the whole scene yellow. Sometimes it looks quite interesting.

Same here, at 5am in the morning in Ljubljana. It was quite cold and the streets were still vet. But the photo came out quite nicely. This is a HDR created in Oloneo Photoengine from 5 exposures and then blended with some of the original brackets in Photoshop.
