A bit later update than I planed, even if I was up from 5am. But today it was not due to a sunrise photoshoot, but due to horrible stomach pain. Luckily after my stomach was completely empty (I spare you the details) it got better, and I’m mostly back to normal. So probably I won’t take many new photos today, but I edited already quite a few from this week, so here is one taken early morning on Thursday in front of the opera house in Bordeaux.

I will continue with Bordeaux photos for a few more days, that is until I move to Paris in few days, and start to post photos from there instead :)

So here is a shot of a quite interesting bridge, the Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas. The middle part here actually moves up using the pylons to let tall ships into the city, but regrettably, I did not see that. Maybe next time. This is a single exposure edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Somehow I managed to get up again at 5 in the morning, and even while it was raining a bit, I decided to go out to take photos. And my destination today was the Opera house here in Bordeaux. I had a bit of luck, and right before the morning blue hour, they stated to clean the square right in front of the opera, so making it wet, and so creating a great reflection in the process.

I somehow woke up at 5am this morning, so what else to do, than to go out and take some photos :) And since I have been out soo early, even before the blue hour, I thought I play with the lights of the passing trams to get an interesting photo, and here is one of those I took.

And I caught up with the blog :) This is another shot of the Pont de Pierre in Bordeaux. This bridge looks really great, but regrettably, it’s quite hard to get close to it. From one side, there is a 2m high wall running right along the road next to it, from the other the whole area is covered with mud, so very slippery and dangerous. But I did my best, getting a bit closer and not getting completely dirty at the same time :)

This is a single exposure edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. I had to expand the top part, as I managed to cut the top of the closes lamp, but with a bit of editing in Photoshop it was easily corrected.
