St. Vitus Cathedral reflection

Next one from Prague :). It was actually funny, looking at all the tourists around me, trying to take the same photo using a compact camera, usually also using flash :). I also think my best shots from Prague will be the night ones. The number of tourists then was already acceptable, so I could take my shots without being in a crowd.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 18-200mm lens, from a tripod.

Karl’s Bridge at Midnight

Back home after few days in Prague. Of course I took many photos and most of them bracketed for HDR :). So this week most (or all :)) photos will be from Prague. Let’s start with something really well know, the Karl’s Bridge. As I had no luck for clouds during the day, I was very happy that there were some at night. This photo was taken around midnight :)

In the past I had a lot of problems with my night shots. Usually the camera focused on everything, just not what I wanted, So this time (after years of having the camera) I used live view and manually focused all my night shots. I think the results are much better, than when I used auto-focus.

County Session House

Something from Liverpool. You can see here, that I really like my wide-angle lens and the distortion it gives to the photos :)

Bikes

A little closer look at bikes. HDR here bring out a really nice detail. (Really short descriptions these few days. This is how it looks when you do 5 posts at the same time :) )
