Faster than Light

When I saw the three original shots here, I knew what I wanted this photo to look like :). Making this small car look like the fastest car on earth :). So I masked in the car from one from one of the shots and the light trais from another.

Another sunset over Danube

It’s a little hard to tell from the photo, but behind the trees is the Danube river :). I took this photo some time in January (there were very few snowy days this year) near the Cunovo Dam near Bratislava.

Titanic’s Chimneys

These are the Three towers in Bratislava. If there was a forth one, they would look almost exactly like the chimneys on the Titanic :) At least that was the first thing the I thought of while taking this photo :)

Red Stairs

One for the hockey fans :). This is a part of the newly reconstructed Ondrej Nepela Arena where the 2011 IIHF World Championship will be held in a few weeks. There are still a few constructions going on there, so I opted for this closer shot, so you cannot see it :). This red stairs are really dominant on the building and very visible, and with the blue hour sky and the white light, I have here all the colors of the Slovak flag :)

Macromo.de

There are many sites on the Internet to find interesting photographers. Macromo.de is one of them. It’s quite small by now, but I really like the simple interface which makes the photos the primary subject, with all other page elements hidden.

It’s really worth the visit :)

Still frozen

I like playing with the depth of field. Usually in HDR photography you try to have everything as sharp as possible, but some time, it’s better like this. I took this one with my 18-50mm lens at 50mm F2.8.

I took this photo 3 days ago. I took a little trip to the top of Devinska Kobyla (hill near Bratislava) and since there was no snow in the city, I was quite suprised to see the whole woods still frozen over (no snow, just ice).
