Maybe not the most interesting photo, but I really like, how for a moment you are not sure what’s in front of the camera and what’s just a reflection :) I took this photo in the mirror room in the Bratislava Castle. As at that time the castle was under reconstruction, it was still empty. So I played around with some crazy compositions, trying not to have my own reflection in the photo :)
Usually I would probably try to find some interesting subject to go with this stunning clouds, but as there isn’t much around the Strkovec lake in Bratislava, I just made the photos all about clouds and their reflection.
Wanted to write something more about this photo, but as I just cut myself on the right index finger, and typing is a little harder, so will keep it short today. I never new a piece of paper can cut so deep into a finger :)
So the computer survived creating a HDR panorama, but it was very slow :) Either way I will have to practice more with panoramas, as I still have much to learn. This one was created from 4 HDR images, all from 5 brackets (so 20 photos overall) and for those interested, you can see here the Bratislava castle from under the New Bridge (or as it’s now called, the SNP bridge, but I don’t like that…). Btw. the Danube was not so calm today, so no nice reflections.
It’s so great when the weather plays along and you get something like this. For a moment I forgot to take photos as I was just looking at the sunset. It was so wonderful..
