Unusual viewpoint

A little less common view of the Bratislava castle and the St. Martin’s cathedral. As I took a lot of photos of both these buildings, it’s really nice to be able to take a different photo of them.

Sunset on the New Bridge

As the sun sets in Bratislava, it always colors all the bridges over the Danube to the most beautiful orange colors. Too bad the bridge is not the best place for HDR photos, as it shaking quite a lot from all the passing cars.

I don’t usually take photos directly from the side of the photo subject, but why not try it sometime?

This is one of those photo, the bigger you see it, the better it looks. The amount of detail is just stunning. And when you see it small, it’s just a big mess :)

Girls love Napoleon

I love street photos, I’m just not very good at them. But I’m trying, and hopefully with a little practice, I hope I get better. So this week, the photos will be a little different :) Quite recently I got a new lens, the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II and I spend some time with it. Hope you all like them (and don’t worry… there will again be a lot of HDR here :) )

So let’s start with a nice one from center of Bratislava. This Napoleon soldier statue is quite popular with tourists and locals to take photos with.
