I absolutely had no time to edit photos yesterday so today I’m adding one of my older photos. I took this one almost a year ago, and that’s when I also processed it. So it’s maybe not as good as the new ones, but still nice :)
Trains are such great subject for photos. Don’t you think? But you should always check that your lens is clean. I took this photo at a train gathering (Rendez) in Bratislava, and I haven’t noticed, that the steam and smoke going from the locomotives, has blown dust onto my lens. So a lot of photos from that day I just unusable. Also you should buy a bubble level for your camera. It’s so much easier to archive a straight photo with it. I can’t imagine being without one anymore :)
I vent with an older photo again today, as I don’t have so many photos from my 5D yet, and it started to get a little repetitive on the blog.
The Kuchajda lake really is the best place for reflections in Bratislava. It always delivers :) Even when there is a little wind, part of the lake are so sheltered, that you can fined a nice place to get a great reflection.
I went a little stronger with post processing on this one. It was a nice sunset but not a very colorful one, so the photos looked very flat.
This is the entrance hall to the Slovak National Theater (the old building). The whole theater has this ball chandeliers which make a strange combination to the classic look to the building. I wouldn’t want be the one that changes the light-bulbs :)
Another thematic post :) A lot of people liked the one called Girls & Bikes so here is a follow up Girls & Cars. Cars and girls, a combination that is very attractive, although it is not HDR image. All this photos were taken at the car exhibition that is currently in Bratislava. I took them only handheld, so the car shots are not as sharp as I would like, but I think they are still very nice. I hope you like them.
