HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

As I mentioned few days ago, I’m quite busy right now, also with a short Prague trip starting tomorrow. So since I have no time to edit, and I will be away, for the next few days, I will repost few shots from the earlier years of this blog. For today, one from 2010 :)

Sky

At first I thought that I will add a new Top 5 spots page today, one for Cesky Krumlov, but then I noticed I don’t have enough finished photos for that. So instead, I edited another shot from there :)

This is a 3 tile panorama, each tile from 5 exposures.

Morning glow

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3×5, Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D mark II, Lens: Canon 24-70mm F2.8, Focal length: 24mm, Aperture: 11, Middle exposure time: 1/25s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.81075, 14.31920

Sorry, but no new photo today. I’m just quite busy with other work that I have to finish. So for now, how about a repost, one of the new tutorial videos I posted recently :)

Too bad that when one fully corrects a fisheye lens distortion, a lot of the photo is lost. But at least now Lightroom supports the Canon 8-15 fisheye, without needing to search for user created correction profiles.

This is another photo of the John Frost bridge in Arnhem, taken with a fish eye lens, corrected in Lightroom and then combined into HDR in Oloneo Photoengine.

Corrected fisheye

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 5, Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D mark II, Lens: Canon 8-15mm F4, Focal length: 13mm, Aperture: 9, Middle exposure time: 20s, ISO: 200, Tripod used: yes, Location: 51.974265,5.911757

Last hours to preorder the Radian 2

I mentioned some time ago the Kickstarter campaign for the Radian 2 time lapse motion device. And right now is the last time you can get it from there, as it will probably not be available for some time, until all the Kicstarter orders are filled. For those who don’t know what Radian 2 is, you can check my review of the Radian 1 and also the Kicstarter page.

Second vertorama from Vienna

How about another vertorama from Vienna. It’s actually taken from the other side of the same bridge :) I did a vertorama here, as with a single image, without having any distortion, I could not get the tops of all the building in the shot. And with the cut off, it just looked strange.
