I absolutely had no time to edit photos yesterday so today I’m adding one of my older photos. I took this one almost a year ago, and that’s when I also processed it. So it’s maybe not as good as the new ones, but still nice :)
The park in Lednice is such a great place to relax. It’s filled with small lakes and hidden places, that you can spend hours and hours there. I usually go to Lednice for two things. One is to take more photos by the Chateau and in the park and second is to eat very good traditional Czech food, as there is one great restaurant :)
A little different view of the Charles bridge in Prague. This is the view you get from the neighboring Manes bridge. As it was raining during the day, these nice soft clouds before sunset were a pleasant surprise.
Trains are such great subject for photos. Don’t you think? But you should always check that your lens is clean. I took this photo at a train gathering (Rendez) in Bratislava, and I haven’t noticed, that the steam and smoke going from the locomotives, has blown dust onto my lens. So a lot of photos from that day I just unusable. Also you should buy a bubble level for your camera. It’s so much easier to archive a straight photo with it. I can’t imagine being without one anymore :)
I vent with an older photo again today, as I don’t have so many photos from my 5D yet, and it started to get a little repetitive on the blog.
I like taking photos of heavy machines, including tanks. And it looks much more authentic when they are not in a museum. But it would be better if they were only in museums.
I took this photo two years ago, so it’s still one from the Canon 450D. When I first loaded it into Photomatix, I almost dismissed it immediately, it was so noisy compared to the ones from the 5D :) But I’m glad I gave it a chance, as the result is quite nice.
I posted a Photomatix screenshot from this photo on my Facebook page, so if you would like to see the settings I used, you can see them there.
