It’s quite interesting how the blue light from the blue hour mixed with all the yellow light from the lamps to create this green color on the water. Physics in action :)
Early tomorrow I’m off to Slovenia (and for a few hours also to Italia) so wish me luck with weather and hopefully I get few nice photos there. I will be visiting Ljubljana and Maribor in Slovenia and if all goes according to plan also Trieste in Italy. So next week, there should be photos from two new countries on this blog :)
The Red sunset
Today I have for you a photo taken from the top of the SNP bridge. I took it around a week ago there. The sunset was a little boring, but the area just above the horizon was completely glowing with yellow and red colors. So instead of using a wide-angle lens, I zoomed in completely into the scene and captured this.
I just made plans for another photo trip. I’m off in 5 days, this time to Slovenia. I will be visiting Ljubljana and Maribor. The weather forecast is great for the time I’m there, so lets hope for a lot of great photos. But until I get to those here is a photo from Bratislava.
This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken from the top of the SNP bridge in Bratislava.
I really like fireworks photos. The fireworks always give something special to the landscape. Same here. I took this one quite a long time ago, sometime at the beginning of last year. And they even formed into something that looks like a tree, which worked great for my composition.
This is a single exposure edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
I took this shot so many times. And few of those I also shared on this blog. But this is still my favorite composition with the Bratislava Castle. And each time I’m close by, I take a new shot. This time I almost didn’t, but as I was waiting for another photographer, and the reflection was so nice, I just had to take 2-3 shots :)
This is a HDR created from 7 shots in Oloneo Photoengine and then finished in Photoshop.
