Inside the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary

I had really luck with timing with this one. We were passing throught Breclav, when I noticed this church (I will upload a photo from the outside som time later, as it’s really beautiful), so we stopped, to take few photos. There were some people standing in front of the church, with the priest standing by the entrance.

We were not sure if its open, but when we entered, nobody stopped us. So I took few photos form the center of the church, and when I moved to the side, a wedding started :). Then was the first time I noticed that there are some extra decorations in the church :). We just quickly moved to the side of the church, waited till everyone entered, and quietly left :)

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod. This photo was taken inside the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Postorna, in Breclav (Kostel Navštívení Panny Marie v Břeclavi).

Classic beauty

The last few days there is an event called 500 Slovak Kilometers in Bratislava, where the owners of this beautiful cars compete in a veteran rally. And as their all stay at the hotel at the Incheba exhibition center, I used the chance, to taken few photos of the cars in the parking lot (no people in the shots :) ).

As always, I forgot to note the type of cars. This one is a Lagonda, but I don’t know which one exactly. If anybody knows, let me know, so I can add it here :)

Castle by the bridge

This is my favorite place from where to take photos of the Bratislava castle. And I have never seen anyone taking photos from there :)

Brackets

I was editing this photo, and as I had the photos opened in Photoshop, I decided to share them :). So just for comparison, these are the original brackets of todays photo:

Some Photomatix info: Strength 70, Saturation 59, Luminosity 6.7, Microcontrast 10.0, Smoothing 0.0, Micro-smoothing 0.4, all other at default. I also masked back parts of the clouds, added a lot of contrast an sharpness and played with the colors a little.

Theatine Church in Munich

I spend few hours in Munich, Germany last year. The whole way there and the whole way from there, the sky was great. But when I was in the city, most of the time it was just grey. This was one of those rare moments, when it broke up to show a little blue sky.

The orange on the church came out really oversaturated, so I toned it down quite a lot. Let’s hope it was enough. I also removed a lot of ghosting on the people with photomatix. It actually work really well :)
