St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral after Sunset

I couldn’t hope for a better sky after the sunset, the broken up clouds, with this gorgeous colors. I was so satisfied :). This is the St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral (Katedrála sv. Petra a Pavla) in Brno, Czech republic. At first I took photos only during the day, but I had bad luck. A small group of tourists always moved, so they interfere with my shot. And when I moved away to a new place, they followed me. It was so annoying. So I decided to go back to the cathedral later on, and i had luck :). I was the only one there.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.

On top of Vienna

This photo was taken from the tower of the Stephens Church in Vienna. The stairs up to the top were quite a challenge, but I think the view was quite worth it :). This photo was taken sometime in August last year, during a very sunny day.

Church of St. James

Another image to my growing collection of church interiors in HDR :). Can’t wait until I have more of them, so I can do a nice post about all of them on my blog :).

This one was taken at the Church of St. James (Kostel svatého Jakuba) in the center of Brno. The church is quite bright with a lot of light coming in, so I made the HDR also nice and bright :).

Tree in the wind

There was such a strong wind that day, that I was actually very surprised that the photos aligned so nicely. I was very happy that I almost always have the lens hood on, as I let go of the tripod for a few seconds and it was immediately blown over by the wind. Without the lens hood, the complete front of the lens would be buried in mud :)

This photo was taken in January near the Red Stone (Cerveny Kamen) castle in western Slovakia.

Sun under the Port bridge

This is actually a very usual composition for me :) Having one bridge under another. But this time the sun gives it a special touch. This is the Port Bridge, one of the less accessible bridges in Bratislava, as it’s a highway bridge, going over the cargo port.

This HDR is from 7 shots, as I vent as hight as +4 EV, because the bridge was very dark in every photo I took.
