I really need to go out and take new photos. Not that I didn’t take around 1500 photos during the weekend, but nothing really as I post here. It would be so nice if instead of raining, it decided to snow already. Would low to take some snowy photos :)
But for now, I did a quick edit of one of my older photos. This is a 4 exposures HDR, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.
Those who follow me on my personal Facebook profile know, that I’m currently taking photos at the Bratislava Sensual Dance festival, so I’m crazy buy and crazy tire. And it will continue until Monday morning, so as I mentioned yesterday, just reposts until then. So here is one of my favorite shots I ever took of the Bratislava Castle :)
You would not believe how many dust spots I had to remove from this photo :) But the reason is simple. My ND filter is in a horrible condition, since my trip to Paris few years ago (not the last one), when while I was moving to a new location, the ND filter got lose from the lens, and feel onto a road. While the glass did not brake, it did get damaged, and can’t really be fully cleaned anymore. But it does work, even if I should think of a replacement soon. And I think I will also do a post about how to remove dust spots in Photoshop, maybe tomorrow :)
This is a HDR from 5 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

When I shoot fireworks, I really like to plan it beforehand. Know when they are, where and have an exact spot, and composition in mind. This time, in this photo I took earlier this year, I was absolutely not prepared. I was at the Slavin memorial to take a few shots of the city, when fireworks above the castle started. It was quite a surprise. At the last minute I managed to get a usable view, and capture at least few shots. And here is one of them.
This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
