When I saw this cloud, it really reminded me of the movie Independence day :) I think it’s really similar to the clouds from which the ships emerged in that movie :)

Pattern reflection
After a week of rain, yesterday we finally had a nice evening in Bratislava, so I was able to take few photos. I went to the main bus station in Bratislava, to take few shots of the skyscrapers which stand next to it. I found this puddle of water on a walkway over the road, so I set my tripod really low, to capture as much of the reflection as possible.
Also something I noticed after I took the shot, that the city lights, together with the railings on booth sides of the walkway, created this great pattern :)

It’s always great to see that something is done with my photos, and that they are not only on my blog. So I agreed that one of my photos is used in a slovak magazine about veteran cars VeteranSK . They selected one of my older shots. It’s a photo named Tractor, taken at Stary Haj in central Slovakia.
Tracks under the bridge
So I don’t only have night shots of the Apollo bridge, here is one take during the day. It maybe not the greatest one, the light and the sky were kind of boring, but I really like this kinds of compositions, so here it is :)

The open gate on this church looked so welcoming, but the inside was closed of with another gate. But anyway it still looked great :). This is one of the two churches in the open air museum in Bardejovske Kupele (from which I have already uploaded a few photos :)). I haven’t found the name of this one, only that it’s originally from the village Zbroj, from where it was moved in 1967.

This photo was taken late one night. There was not a single light source in the whole scene, even with my eyes I could only see a little of it. So I manually focused my camera on a small part where there was a little bit of light reflected, I set the camera to F4.5 an ISO 800 and took the shots. And It was a lovely surprise how well they turned out, as usually Iso 800 is just not usable on my camera for HDR’s :) Check out the original 0EV shot on the right.
Photo taken at the Strahov stadium in Prague earlier this years.
