Roofs in Bratislava

I took this photo from the top of the Michael’s Gate in Bratislava. Each year there is a weekend when every museum, gallery and other stuff is free in the whole city. And each year one of my stops during this day is the top of this tower. This year it wasn’t any different :)

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, handheld.

One sunny day

Yesterday I edited around 10 different HDR’s and didn’t like a single result, so in the end I selected this one. I think everyone knows this days, when you just can’t get the results you really want.

This is one of the shots I took at he park near the Chateau in Lednice, Czech Republic.

Different angle

I think I haven’t uploaded a photo of the Bratislava castle from this angle yet :). I took this from the Slavin memorial during quite a windy day. There was a nice sky around sunset, so I zoomed in quite a lot and did my best to hold the tripod steady :) The perspective is a little flatter on this one. It’s a little strange for me, as I usually shoot with a wide-angle lens. But it’s always nice to try something else :)

Royal Liver Building

This is my favorite building in Liverpool. It looks so majestic and I really like the style :). Had a little bad luck with the weather when I visited, but the grey sky gives the photo a little darker mood, which actually works quite nicely.

Great photographers at Google+

I’ve been playing around with Google+ the last few days and there are many of my favorite photographers already there. I definitively suggest adding them to your circles :). Here they are:

Of course there are many many more, by these are currently my favorites :)

Inside St. Egidius Church

So of course when I took photos of the St. Egidius Church in Bardejov, I had to take few photos from the inside. Again I had a strange timing, as when I arrived it was half an hour before a wedding started there. But as it was around lunch on Saturday, there were only few tourists and for the most of the 30 minutes I could take photos without anyone being in the way.
