HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

I tried for a shot like this already last time I was in Paris, but if you were there, you know that this bridge is quite busy during the day. But as always I tried before the sunrise, on a rainy day, and there was almost nobody. Still I had to do two series of shots, to get rid of thew few people that walked into my shots, but it worked out quite nicely.

This is a blend of two same HDRs, each one from 3 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Way to the cathedral

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 2×3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones MkIII Adapter, Lens: Canon 16-35mm F2.8, Focal length: 16mm, Aperture: 7.1, Middle exposure time: 2.0s, ISO: 200, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.852497, 2.348230

And this is the other extreme I have luck for. I either get no clouds or these crazy stormy clouds. It has been actually like this the whole summer, going from one extreme to another. What can you do.

This is a three shots HDR created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Stormy clouds over Paris

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones MkIII Adapter, Lens: Canon 16-35mm F2.8, Focal length: 16mm, Aperture: 16, Middle exposure time: 1/25s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.842261, 2.321754

Again to break up the Paris shots, here is one older, from Cesky Krumlov. this one is from the very cold snowy sunrise I had there. From the location I was standing at, the sun shown itself so nicely, right behind the castle tower :)

A cold sunrise

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D mark II, Lens: Canon 24-70mm F2.8, Focal length: 70mm, Aperture: 18, Middle exposure time: 1/20s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.811872, 14.311878

From the clouds in the distance it haven’t looked that much for rain, but just few minutes after I took this shot, I got completely soaked by a freakishly strong storm. I have no idea where it came from, and it again passed after few minutes. Of course I had to stop taking photos, and go back to the flat to change :)

Alexander bridge statue

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones MkIII Adapter, Lens: Canon 70-200mm F2.8 IS II, Focal length: 115mm, Aperture: 18, Middle exposure time: 1/8s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 48.863278, 2.313316

One can’t even tell that there was a concert with quite a lot of people right behind me. The stage was only around 5-10m behind me. It really was noisy and I did not like the music that much also. But what can you do if you are in a city only for a short while. One just has to make the best of it :)

This is a HDR from three exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop. The sky is from one of the exposures, the rest is HDR. I also removed few people from the bridge, as they just bothered me in the shot.
