HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

Many things are important in photography, but I always think that the most important part of the gear, are good shoes. Thats one thing that has to be 100% reliable all the time, as quite often, one has to focus on the photo, and can’t look onto every step. I personally use shoes LOWA for few years now, and that they are made in Slovakia is just a bonus :) They are not cheap, but always worked great for me. Same in this place. The are I was standing on was a slope, going down into the water. And of course it was made from stones and wet. Not a place for some bad shoes :)

This is a HDR from 5 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Up close

I never know how to edit these fully sunlit photos. It’s really not the best light to shoot in. But one has to do it from time to time. I’m not even sure about the colors, as I don’t remember how it looked. With the strong sunlight reflecting from everything, I could not even look directly towards the Danube.

This is a two tile panorama, each tile from 3 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine.

Another sunny day

Technique: Manual blend, Number of exposures: 2×3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones Adapter ver. IV, Lens: Canon 70-200mm F2.8, Focal length: 123mm, Aperture: 8, Middle exposure time: 1/200s, ISO: 200, Tripod used: yes, Location: 47.514566, 19.040937

Another little timelapse clip. Again I tried a sunset one, as I think those are the most interesting ones. And those are the ones that are the hardest to do. But actually with the Magic Lantern firmware, it’s not so hard at all :)

Another view you get only at a certain time. Right after sunrise, when the sunrises above the Pest side of Budapest, it lights up the castle, while everything else is still in shadow. And if you are on the Chain bridge at that time, you get a view like this.

This is a panorama form 2 tiles, each tile from 3 exposures, combined in Oloneo Photoengine.

Green light on the bridge

If you are at the exact time at the Charles bridge in Prague, when they turn on the lights, for a few seconds, you can get a photo with the bridge being green. It’s a results of the lights warming up and most people miss it :) You can actually see it by quite a lot of landmark lights, for instance the Chain bridge in Budapest has the same. You just have to have the right timing.

This is a HDR from 3 exposures created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.
