HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

I took this photo while I was waiting for the fireworks over Budapest. It was a very windy evening, so the quality of the photos suffered a little. I could not keep the camera still. Even I had problems standing still in such a strong wind. I also tried to use a clamp, to attach the camera to the railing, which would work great to steady it, but as there were a lot of people around leaning on the railing, they moved it too much. So the photo is not perfect, but the view still is nice and as I won’t go there so soon again, I decided to share the photo.

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken from the Citadel in Budapest.
Windy evening in Budapest

One of the places I visited during my Hungary trip was also the Pannonhalma Monastery. A really nice place for a visit, great photo locations, with a great panorama restaurant (will have to return once for the sunset, the view from the restaurant is really nice :)) and some very good local produce. Great for a day trip :)

I think I haven’t shared any photos of the Margaret bridge in Budapest yet. The problem is not that I don’t like this bridge, I like it very much, but the color. The yellow color of the bridge with the yellow lights just make all photos so hard to edit. I’m not even sure with the colors in this one. But I like the composition I got, so here it is :)

This is a manual blend from 5 shots. Photo taken around 5am, right before the sunrise.
The very yellow bridge

How about one more fireworks shot. The fireworks were going for 30 minutes, so I took really many of them. Hope nobody minds :)

St. Stephen's Day Celebrations

The main reason I chosen this week to visit Budapest were the St. Stephens day celebrations in Budapest, which are finished by a big fireworks show over the Danube. Unluckily, the day of the fireworks there was a very heavy wind during the whole day, which made even standing still a problem. And as I was by the citadel, the highest spot above the city, the wind there was even stronger. But luckily I got few nice photos anyway. This is the first one, and in the coming weeks I will share more.
