HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

I really hate it when there is a parking space right in front of a beautiful landmark. I think the areas around those should be walk-only zones and parks, not a parking space. The cities in Czech republic are quite bad in this. You often have parking spaces right by the historical buildings and quite often in the middle of walk-only zones. It makes the whole area feel worse.

Same here by the Vysehrad church. Horrible place for a parking area. And why? Just because there is a restaurant? Really bad decision on the planers part. Placing a parking area in the middle of a beautiful park (look at the map).

I wanted a photo from the front of the church for a longer time, but can never find the space empty. Same the last time I was there. But as there were some nice cars there, I decided to use them in the photo. There was this Porsche and a Bentley. Actually while I was taking this photo the owner came to pick up something from the car, and due to a very long exposure, you cant even see them. I did’t get to the Bentley, as another car parked right next to it as I finished this photo.

BehingthecameraThe Parizsi udvar in Budapest is really a great looking place. I can even imagine how it looked like when it was first opened. I so hope that they will repair it. I was hypnotized by it. You may think that it looks dark and ugly now, but you have to look through it to see the beauty of the place.

You can see a photo of me on the side, while I was taking this shot. I was just looking up and enjoying the complicated structure. (Big thanks to Zsófi Turi for taking this photo :))

Hypnotizing architecture

I took this photo while I was waiting for the fireworks over Budapest. It was a very windy evening, so the quality of the photos suffered a little. I could not keep the camera still. Even I had problems standing still in such a strong wind. I also tried to use a clamp, to attach the camera to the railing, which would work great to steady it, but as there were a lot of people around leaning on the railing, they moved it too much. So the photo is not perfect, but the view still is nice and as I won’t go there so soon again, I decided to share the photo.

One of the places I visited during my Hungary trip was also the Pannonhalma Monastery. A really nice place for a visit, great photo locations, with a great panorama restaurant (will have to return once for the sunset, the view from the restaurant is really nice :)) and some very good local produce. Great for a day trip :)

I think I haven’t shared any photos of the Margaret bridge in Budapest yet. The problem is not that I don’t like this bridge, I like it very much, but the color. The yellow color of the bridge with the yellow lights just make all photos so hard to edit. I’m not even sure with the colors in this one. But I like the composition I got, so here it is :)

This is a manual blend from 5 shots. Photo taken around 5am, right before the sunrise.
