HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

I’m not completely satisfied with this photo. And I think I could edit it more and more, and I still would not like it completely. It was just an ugly day. But it’s a great photo to try out and advance my manual blending skills, as the dynamic range was extreme. You just have to think about it, the whole foreground area had no light source at all. Open the full post to see the original exposure.

Rooftops of Prague

Slowly I’m getting the hang of this manual blending and luminance masking. Instead of experimenting, I think I actually know what I’m doing :) This is one of the shots I took last time I was in Prague. I’m already planing another trip there, but it wont be for a few more months.

Blue hour bridge

You know.. this bridge used to be called the New Brige, and now it is again called Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising (SNP bridge for short). I don’t really understand why they changed it. As the bridge right next to it, is called the Old bridge, so it nicely made sense. It actually was changed to New Brige, because everyone called it the New Brige even when it was called the other name before.

One from the Zoo

This is definitively not a classic photo for me, but why not have something different from time to time :)

Taken in the Bratislava Zoo last summer, while I was trying out the 70-200mm lens. No HDR, just a single photo edited in Photoshop.

Monument in the evening Sun

Every-time when I took this photo.. somebody walked in and started taking photos under one of the arches. So I just waited and waited, and somehow everyone left right before the sunset and I got a people free photo :)

This is the front part of The Debod Temple in Madrid, Spain, the main part was behind me :)
